Ideas for Action, a joint program of the World Bank and the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research at the Wharton School, is a youth competition centered on innovative ways to finance and implement development solutions to help reach the Sustainable Development Goals. Every year, students and young professionals from around the world participate in the program, which attracted over 700 proposals from 118 countries in 2017.

The winners are selected through a rigorous three-stage selection process evaluating the creativity, significance, feasibility, and clarity of the proposals. The top 10 winning proposals are compiled in a book, and representatives from the top 3 winning teams attend the WBG-IMF Annual Meetings to present their proposals and attend knowledge events. The Wharton School offers the winners training and opportunities to exchange knowledge.

The deadline for the submission of the proposals is February 28.
